M3DLoC was present at the Advanced Materials for Additive Manufacturing –AMAM– consortium meeting (joined to the Nano-Carbon Enhanced Materials –NCEM- consortium meeting) on the 10th and 11th July 2019 at Wolfson College, Cambridge.
This consortium is run by Cambridge Nanomaterials Technology Ltd, one of the M3DLoC partners who is in charge of Exploitation and Dissemination. The aim of this consortium is to provide their members a unique insight into use of advanced materials in additive manufacturing, development of additive manufacturing technologies for various applications, and to facilitate the commercial uptake and bring together potential users with a shared interest to address commercialisation challenges.
Project Coordinator, Professor Costas A. Charitidis from NTUA and Dr Elias P. Koumoulos from IRES gave talks at this meeting. The M3DLoC poster and leaflets were also at display during the event.
University of Limerick (UL) hosted the M18 meeting of the M3DLoC project on the 4th and 5th July, with delegates from all 18 partners organisations attending. This was an opportunity for the M3DLoC partners to meet the new Project Officer (Dr George Kosikos) and Project Monitor (Dr Maddalena Rostagno).
Joanneum Research Health was welcomed as the new partner for the project. Dr Hajnsek presented an overview of the work carried out by the Institute and their relevance to the project. All participants also had the opportunity to visit the bio and materials labs at the University.
After a long day where partners gave an overview of the achieved results in each work package, delegates were invited to a dinner at the Limerick Strand Hotel hosted by University of Limerick.
Members from the M3DLoC team from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Innovation in Research & Engineering Solutions (IRES) and Cambridge Nanomaterials Technology Ltd. (CNT), were present at the EuroNanoForum 2019 which took place on June 12-14, 2019 in Bucharest, Romania.
Dr Jelena Aleksic from Cambridge Nanomaterials Technology Ltd. (CNT) is participating at the EuroNanoForum 2019 in Bucharest, where she is presenting a poster of the M3DLoC Project.
EuroNanoForum 2019, Europe is a networking conference focusing on nanotechnologies and advanced materials science, innovation and businesses. This conference is taking place on June 12-14, 2019 at the second largest administrative building in the world, Palace of Parliament, Bucharest, Romania.
